Day Of MURALS Volunteer Form

MURALS (Multicultural Undergraduate Research Art and Leadership Symposium) intentionally reaches out to undergraduate students of color in various discipline to expose them to a variety of undergraduate research opportunities. Mentoring, presenting research, networking and learning about multicultural leadership are four main aspects of the program and we can use YOUR assistance. MURALS is slated for March 29, 2024. Please mark the date of MURALS in your calendar! 

How You Can Help

We cannot make this event happen without the CSU faculty and staff who volunteer to help with the event. Each year the student participants are thankful for the warm welcome and encouragement that they get from all involved. We will provide you with the training and materials beneficial for being a volunteer on the day of the event. There are several different roles available for those who are interested, including:

  • Registration table for students, faculty, and guests
  • Room moderator for professional development workshops
  • Room moderator for student presentations
  • Poster set up, take down, and greeter

What is Required

  • Attend one 90-minute volunteer orientation
    • Monday, 3/4/24 from 3:30-5pm; Location TBA
    • Thursday, 3/7/24 from 1:30-3pm; Location TBA
  • Be present for your chosen volunteer role and time on March 29, 2024
  • Come with an encouraging attitude and willingness to help students succeed
